Dear Aviation Colleague:
The National Hispanic Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NHCFAE), a not-for-profit organization that exists within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has undertaken an initiative to reach individuals like you in order to assess your interest in an aviation career with the FAA.
As you may have seen recently in the media, Hispanics are under-represented in the federal government. Although the number of qualified Hispanics joining the workforce is growing, the number of employees in the federal work force is not representative of this growth. The NHCFAE has decided to take a creative approach to correct this under-representation by directly contacting individuals with an aviation interest. You were randomly identified from an Airman Certificate holder database as someone holding an Airman Certificate.
If you would like more information and would like to participate in this survey, please answer the following questions and return the survey to us. Our goal is to identify competitive candidates and to provide them assistance in the complex process of applying for employment with the FAA.
Please respond by XXXXX to enable us to proceed with this very important initiative. If you are aware of someone who may be interested in participating, it would be of great assistance to us if you would provide the information about this survey to that person or persons.
Please accept my thanks for the time you have taken to participate. I assure you that your efforts will contribute greatly to improving the employment opportunities for Hispanics in the FAA.
Sincerely,
David Dominguez
President
National Hispanic Coalition Of Federal Aviation Employees
