Bobby Sturgel, Federal Aviation Administration Deputy Administrator

Message from Bobby Sturgell -
Federal Aviation Administration Deputy Administrator

FAA appreciates the significant contribution you have made during the last 28 years in outreach, recruitment and development. Your scholarship fund is yet another example of how you help students achieve their educational goals and go the extra mile by mentoring them for possible entry into aviation careers. Just think, somewhere out there is the next Pete Quesada, our agency’s first Administrator.

FAA and the Coalition share a common vision of equal opportunity for all. Let’s continue working together to ensure that our goal becomes a reality. Thank you for all that you have done and will do in the future!

Estimados Colegas:

Thank you for extending the opportunity to reach out to the National Hispanic Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees. I have noted the many forward moving changes achieved by the organization in the last year. Through your branding initiative, the website has evolved into a resource of current, relevant and informative topics, not only for those of us at Headquarters, but to those in the field as well.

I am pleased to see that your momentum remains strong as you head into year two. I am also pleased to find out that your focus during the coming year will be on education and the promotion of aviation careers.

I must commend you on your strong presence at various FAA events such as the FAAMA Conference and the National Employee Forum. You are really putting forth the effort to stay on top of Agency issues and communicating your progress through the website to your members. Great work! And I know the best is yet to come.
