The time is upon us; conference time, that is. And as you see in our Summer 2006 issue of La Palabra, I’ve turned off the “Fasten Seat Belt Sign” (ding) and encouraged you to get up and move about the Coalition. Of course I’m encouraging as many as possible to move to the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV; however, I realize this is not possible for everyone. But that doesn’t mean you have to sit still.

Hispanic Employment Programs - Creating a Government That Looks Like America

In this section, we will list various Hispanic Employment Programs that assist in reversing the under representation and underutilization of Hispanics in Department Of Transportation and better serve the nation's Hispanic community. The DOT Hispanic Employment Program and many others seeks to recruit talented candidates for employment with DOT; retain, promote, and develop current employees; and create a pipeline for addressing current and future workforce needs.
